On Wilmington Ave in Watts, each business was seen as the same- catch all mini marts that sell everything. But, once we started speaking to the businesses, it became clear that each store had their specialties and each owner had their unique personality. Through the use of icons, color and, in some cases, rebranding, we helped differentiate each business while creating a collective corridor identity.
